Matcha Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder, plus extra for dusting
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

Instructions:

  1. Heat heavy cream until it begins to simmer, then remove from heat and whisk in matcha powder.
  2. Pour the hot cream over chopped chocolate and let sit for 1 minute. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add butter to the chocolate mixture and stir until fully incorporated. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until firm.
  4. Scoop and roll the mixture into balls, then dust with matcha powder. Keep refrigerated until serving.
